Amanda Owen

Amanda Owen's philosophy is a simple one: Believe + Receive = Achieve.

Amanda is a consultant-coach in the areas of spirituality, empowerment and self-improvement. Her research over the last twenty years into the nature of receptivity and its link to manifestation along with her studies in quantum theory and Buddhism, led her to develop a system that helps people manifest the lives they want by developing their capacity to receive. Her formula: Believe + Receive = Achieve is simple in its application but far-reaching in its scope. Her work investigating and researching the benefits, importance and the power of receiving has earned her accolades from her peers and her seminars and workshops have helped countless people transform their lives.

Amanda works with individuals and groups, traveling throughout the United States and Canada and reaches an international audience through her tele-courses. These consultations and presentations are helping people to manifest their dreams and goals by strengthening their capacity to receive them.

Amanda’s first book Lucky Stars (Three Rivers Press, 2001), was written to help teenagers and young adults develop confidence and self-knowledge through the lens of their Sun sign.  Lucky Stars received excellent reviews, including praise from Christiane Northrup, bestselling author of Mother-Daughter Wisdom and The Wisdom of Menopause, and Elizabeth Lesser, cofounder of the Omega Institute and author of The Seeker's Guide.

Amanda has been a published writer since 1994. She has written articles and website content for CosmoGIRL magazine and numerous articles, columns and website content for the New Age market.

She also has a blog, www.SandPaintingMyLife.blogspot.com where she posts her photographs accompanied by quotes to inspire people to slow down and receive the present moment. Amanda recently published a book of her photographs with inspiring quotes titled Receive Inspiration.
